We used to think that “classical” music was the past, now grown old and obsolete. But this is false. Nowadays the number of classical musicians is huge and they write and play a music which is modern, original and innovative. This new music is a challenge for the public and for the “old school”, but it is certainly something to explore, to understand and appreciate.
